Nov 14, 2017 | Announcements
On November 2, 2017, members of Daoust Vukovich participated in the 5th Annual 2017 Real Estate Climb for United Way, which was a charitable event that saw many real estate companies in the GTA forming teams to climb office towers in the Financial District in support of United Way Toronto & York Region.
The “Daoust Vukovich Stair Sisters” were comprised of Candace Cooper (Partner- Real Estate), Jenna Morley (Associate- Leasing), Paetra Kaufman (Associate- Leasing), and Dina Peat (Associate- Litigation).
In approximately 22 minutes, the Stair Sisters successfully “summited” the 71 floors of First Canadian Place, Canada's tallest skyscraper, with lots of sweat, but no tears.
The Daoust Vukovich Stair Sisters were the top fundraisers out of all 57 participating teams. Candace Cooper and Jenna Morley were the top two fundraisers of all participants in the event.
Team shirts were designed by Laura Pitre (Assistant- Real Estate), and the Stair Sisters were joined at the post-climb celebration at King Taps in First Canadian Place by Wolfgang Kaufman (Partner- Litigation), Ken Pimentel (Associate-Real Estate), and Brian Parker (Associate – Leasing).
Events like this one are helping the United Way Toronto & York Region ensure that people in our community get the support they need.
The event was sponsored by Cadillac Fairview, Quadreal, Oxford, Brookfield, Riocan, and Scotia Plaza. Daoust Vukovich was the only participating law firm.
